Control Room Studio A
Our primary goal in recording Foley is to match the production sound as closely as possible.
To accomplish this task the studio is equipped with an Avid Protools HD system fronted by Millennia, Trident and Joe Meek mic-pres. We use Neumann KMR 81s for close mics as well as a large diaphragm Neumann 87 and or TLM 103 for room. Apogee converters convert our analog signal to digital then its sent to a Tascam DM3200 digital console for mixing. This signal chain allows us the flexibility necessary to create the most transparent Foley sound effects available.
All our completed Foley sessions are delivered via FTP server or on your Mac formatted hard drive in an Avid ProTools session at whatever bit, sample and frame rate you specified.
